Automobile & Trucking Liability
Whether you are an individual, a business, an insurer, or a government entity, Levy Pruett Carter has achieved considerable success in cases arising from automobile and commercial trucking accidents. We work with insurers and self-insureds to defend against claims of negligence in personal injury and wrongful death cases. Our firm has successfully defended owners and operators of tractor-trailers, school buses, tour buses, fire engines, dump trucks, ambulances, sanitation trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
We begin each case with a thorough review of the accident. We have personally conducted on-scene investigations of crashes involving large commercial vehicles. We have an established network of accident reconstructionists, engineers, and medical experts to assist in the investigation, evaluation, and defense of these claims. We then formulate our defense strategy by combining the specific facts of each crash and analysis of witness interviews with our knowledge of state law and, if applicable, relevant federal motor carrier safety regulations.

Governmental Liability & Transportation
Levy Pruett Carter’s attorneys have defended the Georgia Department of Transportation in personal injury and wrongful death cases for almost two decades. We have defended the State of Georgia against allegations of negligence including road design, construction, maintenance, signalization, work zone traffic control, guardrail installation, and numerous other transportation issues.
Through our extensive representation of Georgia DOT and several other large public and private entities, Levy Pruett Carter is very familiar with the principles of accident reconstruction, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) publications.
Food-borne Illness
